My Passion is Designing Your Future

Hi!  I’m Lauren.  I am a marathon running, animal loving, world exploring career coach.  I have always loved running, animals, and traveling but I did not always see myself working in this profession.  The road that led me here was windy, rocky, and bumpy but that did not take away from the beauty of my journey.  

Over time my interest in career development theories, self-exploration strategies, and career design has allowed me to become a certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner, Career Services Professional, and Global Career Development Facilitator.  My education coupled with the experience I’ve gained from working in higher education and private practice has provided me with the ability to empathize with and appropriately guide my clients when they are feeling lost.  I feel very lucky to have a job that allows me to support job seekers, retirees, and “way-finders” every day. 

I specialize in working with professionals who are looking to make a change. So whether you are searching for a new job, daydreaming about new career, or struggling to design a meaningful retirement life, I hope knowing a little more about me will encourage you to reach out to see if we can work together.

My Job Seeker Program will give you a clear idea of what you are looking for in your next professional move, an understanding of effective job searching and networking strategies, and an effective resume and LinkedIn profile.

Resume Assistance

My resume coaching program will give you control over the resume writing process. By the end of this program, you will have an employer ready resume that highlights your most valuable strengths and achievements.  LinkedIn coaching services are available also.

Interview Preparation

My interviewing coaching program will increase your confidence going into your next interview. You will know what parts of your background are the most valuable to talk about, and you will feel comfortable sharing stories about your past professional achievements, skills, and experiences.

 

Second Act: Retirement Group Coaching Program

Second Act is a virtual group coaching program for professionals who are approaching retirement or have recently retired and are looking for a meaningful way to spend their time (outside of traveling and being with family).  As a part of this group, you will examine the principles outlined by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans in their book, Designing Your Life, to help you create a purpose in retirement.
