What does the interview and offer negotiation coaching program look like?
The Interviewing Coaching and Offer Negotiation Coaching Program will increase your confidence going into your next interview. Interview coaching works best if the client already has an interview scheduled or anticipates an interview will be scheduled soon. The client should have a target employer and a target job description in mind when they decide to hire an interview coach.
Interview and offer negotiation coaching involves reflecting on your past professional experiences and discovering how your skills, strengths, interests, values, and achievements can fulfill your future employer’s needs.
What topics will be covered during coaching sessions?
Each program is different and will be tailored to each client’s unique needs. Below are examples of topics and activities that can be covered during coaching sessions.
- Employer research.
- Learn how to anticipate interview questions.
- Learn about the different types of interview questions and how to develop a system and a plan for delivering your answers.
- Asking powerful questions during the interview.
- The STAR strategy.
- Assessing your value and values.
- Setting your salary range and learning about your market rate.
- Creating an outline and script for the offer negotiation.

How much time does this program take?
Coaching will take as long as you need it to take to prepare for your interview. Typically, clients will spend one day to three weeks in an interview and offer negotiation coaching program. The program can take longer depending on the client’s goals.
How often will we meet?
The client will meet with the coach once or twice per week. Sessions are 60 minutes in length.

First, you must commit yourself to preparing for an interview. This process will require commitment and dedication on your part to experience success.
