Marketing Tool Coaching Program
What does marketing tool coaching look like?
Marketing tools are anything you are using to help prospective employers learn more about you and how you can benefit their organization. Typical marketing tools used during a job search are a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile. Clients can select to engage in resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn coaching, or clients can select to only receive coaching in one or two areas. Resume and LinkedIn coaching includes three sessions, and cover letter coaching includes two sessions.
Lauren Barlow Career Coaching believes composing effective marketing tools takes time and effort. This goal can be achieved by self-reflecting to examine your past experiences and identifying skills, strengths, and achievements that your future employer will value. Coaching sessions will include activities and exercises that will allow you to examine your experience with the goal of creating an informative and succinct document that accurately outlines your value in relation to a specific job description. You will be provided with “homework” between each session to assist in progressing toward your goals. Sessions should be scheduled once per week or once every other week to allow for consistent progress toward your goals.
Marketing tool coaching and marketing tool writing are two different services. Marketing tool coaching provides the job seeker with complete control over the writing process, and the coach will be there to guide you and heavily edit your resume content. Marketing tool writing gives your coach the writing power, and you will serve as an advisor, ensuring the content accurately represents your value. Lauren Barlow Career Coaching does not offer marketing tool writing services.
